Is ThinnestAI just a cheaper Vapi for India?
No. Different architecture — multilingual-first vs English-first. Our speech stack is curated and platform-managed rather than assembled by you, Indian compliance defaults (DND/NCPR scrubbing, 9am–9pm IST time-boxing, DPDPA consent capture and retention) are on out of the box, data stays in GCP Mumbai, and INR billing is the default. We reply in 37 languages in total, so we work outside India too.
Can I keep my existing Twilio account when moving from Vapi?
Not directly — ThinnestAI can't import a Twilio number today. You can buy a fresh Indian number from us for ₹349/mo (we handle provisioning and DLT), or if you happen to have a Plivo number, import it at ₹0 extra and keep that DLT registration.
Does ThinnestAI integrate with the same providers as Vapi?
No, and deliberately. ThinnestAI runs one curated, platform-managed voice pipeline — cascaded speech recognition, LLM and text-to-speech — behind the flat rate from ₹2/min. There are no provider keys to configure and no separate provider bills. For telephony, buy an Indian number from us at ₹349/mo or import an existing Plivo number at ₹0.
Latency comparison vs Vapi?
We don't publish one. Carrier-call performance on our stack isn't measured yet, and we'd rather say that than quote a figure we can't defend. Run a pilot on your own numbers and traffic and judge it directly — the trial gives you 25 voice minutes with no card.
Can I migrate from Vapi to ThinnestAI?
Yes. System prompts, tool definitions and webhook patterns are portable with light adaptation. An agent here is configured in a tabbed settings screen — prompt, knowledge, channels, actions, templates, voice, campaigns — so most of the work is pasting the prompt across and re-pointing the tools.
Does ThinnestAI have a similar SDK to Vapi?
Not today. We expose a REST API and signed webhooks (lead, escalation, resolution, call finished, campaign finished), and the web widget drops in as a one-line script tag. Vapi ships Vue/React widgets and SDKs we don't.
Pricing at 100k+ minutes per month?
Enterprise pricing is negotiated — there's no fixed published per-minute rate at any volume. Contact sales for a quote.
Is there an MCP integration?
Yes, as a client. Your agent can call tools over MCP — 21 pre-registered server connections plus a directory of 1,434 services, OAuth sign-in and encrypted credential storage. Consent is per tool, off by default, capped at eight tools per agent. Vapi doesn't ship MCP today (as of May 2026).
