WhatsApp Business API
Best WhatsApp Business API Providers in the UAE
Short answer: if you want a regional supplier with Arabic-language tooling, Unifonic, which lists a Dubai office. For large brands, Gupshup or Infobip, both with Dubai offices. For a self-serve team inbox, Wati, respond.io or Gallabox, which lists prices in dirhams. For one AI agent that answers WhatsApp and speaks Arabic and English on phone calls, ThinnestAI. Every provider here showed on its own website that it serves UAE businesses.
What should a UAE business check first?
- Arabic, channel by channel. A provider may support Arabic in templates, in its interface, in AI chat replies or on voice calls. Ask which.
- WhatsApp calling. respond.io's help centre says WhatsApp Business calling is restricted or unavailable in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Egypt, while Wati's calling page lists the UAE among markets for outbound calling. Confirm with your provider before planning around it.
- Billing currency. Some bill in dirhams, others in US dollars or euros.
- Meta's charges for UAE numbers. Meta charges per delivered message, by category and by the recipient's country, and publishes the rates on its pricing page.
- Number type. respond.io's help centre notes WhatsApp does not accept toll-free numbers such as the UAE 800 series, so plan to use a regular mobile or landline number.

Regional and enterprise providers
Unifonic
Unifonic began in Saudi Arabia and lists offices in Riyadh, Dubai, Cairo, Amman and Lahore. Its agent console connects unlimited agents to one WhatsApp Business API number, routes chats by agent skill, unifies WhatsApp, Facebook and SMS, and lists Arabic language support. Its site is available in Arabic.
Gupshup
Gupshup lists a Dubai office among its global offices and publishes UAE customer stories. It offers AI agents for sales, marketing and support, voice AI agents for phone and WhatsApp, and event-triggered campaigns across WhatsApp, Instagram, SMS and RCS, sold mainly through demos.
Infobip
Infobip lists a Dubai office under Infobip Gulf in Dubai Internet City. It is an official WhatsApp BSP and, per its FAQ, aims its WhatsApp offering at medium and large businesses with tailored pricing.
Self-serve team inboxes
Wati offers an Arabic version of its site, a team inbox across WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, TikTok and web chat, Astra AI agents and a 7-day trial. respond.io publishes a case study with Dubai-based Only Tourism, which uses its AI agent for routine visa questions; plans are in US dollars. Gallabox lists its Basic, Essential and Advanced plans in dirhams alongside rupees and dollars, with AI agents on WhatsApp and Instagram from Essential.
Where does ThinnestAI fit in the UAE?
ThinnestAI is an official Meta Tech Provider, so a Dubai or Abu Dhabi business connects its number through Meta's own signup in minutes. One AI agent answers WhatsApp, your phone line, website chat and Telegram, with one memory of each customer. On phone calls it speaks Arabic and English, along with 48 other languages, in a voice you pick from the voice library, and WhatsApp template messages can be written in Arabic.
The honest limit: the agent's written replies on WhatsApp and chat cover 37 languages, and Arabic is not one of them today. If customers will chat with the AI in Arabic on WhatsApp, a provider with Arabic chat support is the better fit for that part. Billing is in US dollars, data is stored in London, and for phone calls you import your own Twilio, Telnyx or Plivo number; renting a UAE number from us is not available.
