How Do You Put Your Own Brand and Domain on an AI Agent Platform?

Short answer: set your brand (name, logo and colours), connect a domain such as app.youragency.com by adding two DNS records, connect your own email sender so invitations come from your address, set up your sign-in page, and add links to your own privacy policy and terms. On ThinnestAI all of this sits in the white-label settings on every paid plan. Once it is done, the console, sign-in page and emails your clients see carry only your brand.

What should carry your brand?

  • The console: your name, logo and colours on every page a client sees.
  • The address: a domain you own, served over HTTPS.
  • Email: invitations and notifications from your own sender.
  • The sign-in page: your look and your words.
  • Legal links: your privacy policy and terms, because your clients' contract is with you.

How do you set it up, step by step?

  1. Add your brand. Upload your logo, set your name and colours. Use a logo that reads well small; it appears in the sidebar and in emails.
  2. Choose the address. A subdomain such as app.youragency.com is the usual choice. It keeps your marketing website separate and is easier to point than your root domain.
  3. Add the DNS records. At the company that runs your domain's DNS, add a TXT record that proves you own the domain, and a record that routes it to the platform: a CNAME for a subdomain, or an A record on a root domain. Then press verify. The HTTPS certificate is issued automatically once the domain is verified.
  4. Connect your email sender. Connect your own sending account so invitations and notifications come from your address. Your email provider will ask you to add its own DNS records for your domain; skip them and your mail is likely to land in spam.
  5. Set up the sign-in page. Choose its layout and add your headline. Decide whether people can sign up on your domain or only by invitation; invitation-only suits most agencies that onboard clients themselves.
  6. Add your legal links. Enter the web addresses of your privacy policy and terms. They appear on the sign-in and sign-up pages. Set both before you invite anyone: with none set, sign-up shows no agreement line at all.
  7. Test it as a client would. Invite a test address, open the email, sign in on your domain, and click through the console.

What do you need ready before you start?

What usually goes wrong with the domain?

  • Records added in the wrong place. If your domain was bought at one company but its DNS runs at another, add the records where the DNS actually runs.
  • A proxied record. Some DNS hosts can route traffic through their own network. Set the routing record to DNS-only, or verification will not see it pointing at the platform.
  • Waiting on DNS. New records can take a while to appear. If verify fails, check the record, wait and try again.
  • Email in spam. Almost always missing sending records. Recheck them with your email provider.

What still shows outside your brand?

A few things belong to other companies and carry their names: Meta's own sign-in window when a client connects WhatsApp, and the client's own carrier account (Twilio, Telnyx or Plivo) when they import a number. The ready-made website store plugins also carry the platform's name, so on your domain clients are shown the script-tag install for the chat widget instead. Tell clients about these before they meet them.

What should your privacy policy cover?

Your clients answer to their customers, and you answer to your clients, so your policy should describe how calls and messages are handled and stored. On ThinnestAI, international workspaces are stored in London and India workspaces in Mumbai, and parts of each international call are processed outside the UK under UK transfer safeguards; see where your data is stored. Ask your own adviser to write the policy; you are responsible for your terms.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use my own domain for a white-label AI platform?

+
Yes. Add a TXT record to prove you own it and a CNAME (or an A record on a root domain) to route it, then verify. The HTTPS certificate is issued automatically.

Should I use a subdomain or my main domain?

+
A subdomain such as app.youragency.com is usually easier. It keeps your marketing website separate and is simpler to point at the platform.

Can client emails come from my own address?

+
Yes. Connect your own email sender and invitations and notifications come from your address. Add the DNS records your email provider asks for so mail is not marked as spam.

Do I need my own privacy policy and terms?

+
Yes. Your clients’ agreement is with you. Add links to your own privacy policy and terms; they appear on your sign-in and sign-up pages.

Can I stop strangers signing up on my domain?

+
Yes. You can make your domain invitation-only, so only people you invite can create an account.
